There are 6 reasons why I think you should visit Cooper’s Bayou Park located in Clearwater, Florida. This small park has some great outdoor ammentities for those of you who love the outside and nature. As you drive up there is a small parking lot. I couldn’t wait to capture the surroundings of this quaint location.
Cooper’s Bayou Park has a long Nature Walk Trail that loops around. As I walked around, I saw people walking, biking and rollerblading.
You can sit, relax and enjoy the view of the lake as you admire the natural settings and wildlife.
Exercise facilities are located throughout for those who are looking to stay in shape.
You can also see Night Herons. That is, if you can find them! It took me a few tries to capture this one. As you can see, it was camouflaged.
A beautiful and tranquil scenic area is available for canoeing and kayaking. Once you begin your journey on the waterfront you may see Egrets and Hawks that live there. A salt water fishing license is required if you want to fish.
You will see tall Banyan trees that surround the park. The trees are perfect for hot summer days where they can provide much needed shade. On this day, I stood under this enormous tree to capture it.
